"I am responsible...

...When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. to always be there. And for that, I am responsible." Fulfilling this pledge is the mission of the Twelve Step Service Board. Serving the greater Inland Empire area, the members of the Board are part of a telephone answering service that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, helping those in need of assistance.

Most calls are usually as simple as giving out the time and place of a local meeting. At other times, the caller may need help with how to cope with a loved one who cant stop drinking, and occasionally the Board member will locate a "12 Stepper" to visit the caller in need.

Visit the stories section to see how the Twelve Step Service Board has affected the lives of those it serves.

Help us to continue to fulfill our pledge by reminding your group about the important role that the Board serves and to include the TSSB when making your group donations.
